How to get your LlaveMX to connect to PUI
LlaveMX is the government’s digital identity: free, made with your CURP, phone and email. It is one of the keys to connecting your hotel to PUI. Here is what it is, how it is created and how we help you register your hotel.
What LlaveMX is and what it is for
LlaveMX is the official digital identity of the Mexican government: a free electronic credential that lets you do procedures on the State’s platforms with a single sign-on. It is created with your CURP, your phone number and your email, and works as your entry key to official portals.
For PUI, LlaveMX is one of the keys you need: it is what lets you into the portal where your hotel is registered and the connection to the Single Identity Platform is managed. Without it, you cannot access that portal.
It is not the same as the e.firma. LlaveMX is your access (like a reinforced government username and password); the e.firma is the SAT electronic signature, which is also required to set up your hotel’s profile. To connect to PUI you need both, plus registering your profile and a secure query URL.
LlaveMX vs e.firma: not the same thing
Two distinct pieces you need to connect.
LlaveMX = your access
Your free digital identity (CURP + phone + email). It is the key to enter the government portal.
e.firma = your signature
The SAT electronic signature. It is required to set up your hotel’s profile on the portal.
Query URL = your link
The secure endpoint (with JWT and TLS) through which the authority queries your hotel. We register it for you.
Hotel profile = your registration
Your lodging’s registration on the portal, with your data. We help you set it up.
How your LlaveMX is created
It is free and made with data you already have.

- 3. You create your digital identityWith that data you generate your LlaveMX on the official government portal. It is free.
